Honorary Alumni Award

The Honorary Alumni Award recognizes individuals who are not graduates of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ-Lock Haven (or its predecessor institutions) but who have made significant, sustained contributions to the university’s welfare, reputation, mission, or community. It honors friends, supporters, faculty/staff, donors, community leaders, or others whose efforts have strengthened Lock Haven and embodied its values of personal resilience, leadership, service, and excellence. This award complements the Distinguished Alumni and Outstanding Early Career Professional Awards by extending recognition beyond the graduate community.

Eligibility:

• Open to any individual who has demonstrated exceptional support for or impact on the university or its students.
• Nominees must not be graduates of Lock Haven University / ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ â€“ Lock Haven.
• Currently employed faculty/staff at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ are not eligible.
• Currently serving members of the PASSHE Board of Governors or the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Council of Trustees are not eligible.
• Elected officials who are currently serving in their elected office are not eligible.

Outstanding Early Career Award

The Outstanding Early Career Award recognizes recent graduates who have demonstrated exceptional professional accomplishments, leadership, and promise early in their careers, while potentially giving back to the university or community.

Eligibility:

• Nominees must be graduates of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ-Lock Haven (or its predecessor institutions).
• Recipients should exemplify Lock Haven’s values (e.g., personal resilience, leadership, community impact, professional excellence, and service)
• Recipients must have graduated from ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ-Lock Haven (or its predecessors within the last 15 years

Distinguished Alumni Award

The Distinguished Alumni Award is the highest honor from the Alumni Association, recognizing alumni for lifetime achievement, sustained excellence, and significant contributions to their profession, society, and/or the university.
